De De Pyaar De 2 is a sequel to its 2019 film, Akiv Ali directorial, De De Pyaar De, starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Tabu. Having been released just yesterday, November 14, the film seems to have garnered a slow start at the box office. Co-starring R Madhavan, Gautami Kapoor, Meezaan, and others, the movie has earned Rs 9.45 crore on its opening day at the theatres.
As reported by India Today, on its debut day, the movie made a collection of Rs 9.45 crore. It saw a 14.05% Hindi occupancy on Friday. Considering it’s the weekend, there are chances that the occupancy and collection of the film will see a considerable rise.
While De De Pyaar De 2 has done slightly better than Son Of Sardaar 2, which made a collection of Rs 7.5 crore on its first day, it is still lagging behind Devgn’s other films’ collections. Reportedly, Riteish Deshmukh co-starrer Raid 2 made a collection of Rs 19.25 crore. It is to be noted that Ajay and Madhavan’s last release, Shaitaan, also made a significant earning on its first day. The movie had made a collection of Rs 14.75 crore.
Reportedly, Anshul Sharma directorial has received over 5,100 shows, making its occupancy rates average out to 14.05 percent. Morning and afternoon shows have achieved rates of 7.46 percent and 10.66 percent, while evening and night shows are doing better with 12.80 percent and 25.26 percent. The makers are hoping that the film picks up momentum during its opening weekend.
Starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, Rakul Preet Singh, Meezaan Jafri, Jaaved Jafri, Gautami Kapoor, Ishita Dutta, and others, De De Pyaar De 2 is directed by Anshul Sharma. Produced by the T-Series Films and Luv Films, the movie is a direct sequel to the first film. It is scheduled for release on November 14, 2025.
