Two new itineraries aboard Le Ponant, the only sailing yacht with the Relais & Châteaux label
In addition to its signature itineraries in Corsica, Croatia, and the Greek islands, Le Ponant will inaugurate two Italian voyages in 2027. Stretching nearly 300 feet and recently refitted by Jean-Philippe Nuel Studio, Le Ponant accommodates just 32 guests in 16 staterooms, each boasting panoramic windows with sea views. Guests can lounge on the sun deck beneath the billowing white sails, sip a cocktail from the outdoor bar, and indulge in Biologique Recherche spa treatments.
Under Sail from the Riviera to Sicily: Explore Italy’s coastal highlights on this weeklong voyage featuring ports including Portofino, Ponza, Amalfi, and Lipari. Navigate between the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas, calling at historic fishing villages, landmarks including Cinque Terre National Park and Napoleon’s villa in Portoferraio, and volcanic islands.

Back to the Azores, the garden of the Atlantic
The cruise line will return to the Azores aboard Le Boréal, with new experiences and new ports of call in Madalena and Angra do Heroismo. The Azores archipelago features cedar and beech forests, fragrant hedges of ginger and fern, and landscapes shaped by volcanic activity. Pico, Portugal’s highest peak, dominates the island where generations have cultivated vineyards on volcanic slopes. The region’s towns reflect its maritime history, and the surrounding waters are recognized as premier whale-watching destinations.
The Essential Azores: An adventure to explore six of the nine islands of the Azores, discovering the unspoiled nature, UNESCO sites and traditional villages.
Ponta Delgada-Ponta Delgada, July 15-22, 2027, 8 days/7 nights
Madeira and the Azores: Discover the Azores combined with Madeira and the Portuguese capital. Highlights include the Madeira Botanical Garden in Funchal, the levadas (traditional irrigation channels) of Madeira, and the Sete Cidades caldera and Lago do Fogo. These two departures can also be combined with the Essential Azores itinerary for an enriched experience.
