Nicki Minaj Claims Former Associates Committed Credit Card Theft, Accuses Them Of Stealing Thousands Of Dollars

On October 14, 2025, Nicki Minaj took to X to accuse multiple former associates of stealing thousands of dollars from her American Express card through unauthorized charges. The rapper shared screenshots of transaction records showing charges amounting to approximately $25,000 to $30,000 over a two-month period. Minaj said that three different individuals made these purchases without her permission, with some unable to explain how they obtained the new card number.

Minaj wrote in one post, “3 different people in the span of 2 months charging my Amex w/o permission. Some couldn’t even explain how they had the brand new card number. Hmmmm.” She added that she had filed a police report weeks earlier and declared, “Filed the first report a couple weeks ago. They’re all going to jail.” Minaj indicated that the thefts had been ongoing for years and involved insiders close to her circle.

The accusations extended beyond the credit card fraud. Minaj claimed a fourth person had been stealing from her fans, known as the Barbz, and had used a tracking device connected to their phone to monitor her movements. Authorities traced the device back to the individual’s cellphone number, leading Minaj to comment, “You can’t MAKE this sh*t up.”

The timing of Minaj’s posts followed a public exchange with Cardi B., who had accused Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, of using her credit cards inappropriately while she was sedated, tweeting, “You don’t listen to nobody around you. The only person that have the power is Kenneth Petty. But you know what happens wit that Amex when you sedated.” Minaj’s revelations prompted fans to link the incidents, though she directed her accusations at associates rather than Petty. Minaj also referenced Roc Nation, Jay-Z’s entertainment company, suggesting possible involvement from management or label affiliates in the misuse of funds.

While Minaj did not name the individuals, podcaster Tasha K alleged on October 14, 2025, that one of them was stylist DiAndre Tristan. Tasha K posted, “Nicki Minaj filed a police report against DiAndre Tristian the Stylist last week for stealing MONEYYY.” Tristan, a three-time Emmy-winning stylist, had previously worked with Minaj. Screenshots shared by fans showed Minaj unfollowing Tristan and others in her circle shortly after Cardi’s initial jab.

Minaj has a history of similar allegations. In 2018, she accused her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels of stealing her credit card, tweeting, “U stole my card & told me you thought it was an account with ‘free money’ that I didn’t know about.” Samuels responded by claiming Minaj had stabbed him during their relationship.

Minaj’s posts garnered immediate support from her fanbase, the Barbz, who flooded X with messages of solidarity. One fan wrote, “Nicki had nearly $30K stolen from her AMEX and she was watching them steal the fckin money from various unauthorized purchases… yet yall still wanna run with then narrative that Kenneth stole from her when saw the numbers and addresses connected to each unauthorized purchase.” Another defended her actions, stating, “Nicki flat out said people she employed were stealing her money, and filed charges against a stylist. But y’all still jacking its her husband… lmfao interesting people who can’t read.”

A user commented, “Cardi said the Brooklyn niggas nicki had around her spilled the tea that when Nicki is asleep Kenny be swiping her credit cards a few days later Pedro tae and a few others get unfollowed by nicki. Now tonight nicki is posting receipts of people stealing from her credit card. I dont think it was actually Kenneth stealing but other people around her.” Another pointed out, “This seven count credit card fraud THIEF has time to take time out her day to defend her friend another THIEF but refused to report on Demoree Hadley or the fact that her THIEF friend was stealing from Nicki Minaj.”

Minaj confirmed she is cooperating with law enforcement, having filed at least one report prior to her X posts. No arrests have been announced as of now, and neither Minaj’s representatives nor those of the accused have issued official statements.
