Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan recently shot a fun promo announcing the OTT release of his film Sikandar, which premiered on Netflix on May 25. In the video, Salman humorously waits in an elevator heading to the Netflix office, only to find it blocked by armed goons. Channeling his inner Sikandar, he takes them down one by one, impressing the goons so much that they back off when he steps out. The promo ends with Salman urging his fans to watch Sikandar on Netflix in his signature style.
Netflix shared a poster on Instagram announcing Sikandar’s OTT debut with the caption, “Heard many people were waiting for Sikandar? Sikandar has arrived to rule Netflix. Watch Sikandar, on Netflix on May 25th.”

Fans flooded the comments with love and admiration, writing things like, “This announcement>>>Whole sikandar movie,” “Bhai Ki Look Sabse Alag,” , “Legend sikander”, “Salman is legend actor,” and “Superb Announcement…. Directed by AR Murugadoss, in Sikandar, Salman plays Sanjay, the respected ‘raja of Rajkot,’ who clashes with a corrupt political family following his wife’s tragic death. Driven by grief and a mission for justice, he vows to protect the recipients of her organ donations, sparking dramatic confrontations packed with intense action and emotion.
The film stars Salman Khan alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, and Sathyaraj, delivering high-octane action, powerful dialogues, and emotional moments typical of a Salman Khan blockbuster.
Though Sikandar received mixed reviews, it grossed over Rs 200 crore worldwide, falling short of Salman’s usual box office standards. Critics pointed out flaws in direction and some weak performances, but praised Salman’s strong presence in the action scenes.
