The first building completions for Park Rae are planned for early 2025, while the remainder of the timing will depend on market demand, the company said in a press release.
East Capital Real Estate is developing the largest logistics and light industry park in Estonia, called Future East Capital Park Rae.
Spanning 140,000 square metres on a 30-hectare plot, it aims to be the country’s largest logistics and light industrial centre.
Construction has begun, with the first building completions expected in early 2025.
“The plot of land we bought for the construction of the logistics park in 2021 is well-located, just 15 minutes by car from the centre of Tallinn, with excellent access to Tallinn Ring Road and Tartu Road. We have an ambitious goal, to build the largest park with logistics and light industrial buildings in Estonia. The work on the project started this year,” said Albin Rosengren, partner and head of real estate, East Capital Group.
According to Rosengren, the need for new and modern logistics industry centres is based on the increasingly important focus for businesses to reduce their carbon footprint. “The future of the logistics industry is green, sustainable, and flexible. This means that energy comes from renewable sources and that the sustainable materials are used in the construction. Rae Park’s buildings are flexible, allowing changes in the size of the tenant spaces and there is a focus on the overall work environment; attractive and healthy in all aspects. While developing East Capital Park Rae, we consider both people and nature at every step,” added Rosengren.
This comprehensive park solution consists of logistics buildings and office spaces. “Employee satisfaction is one of the priorities of Park Rae. Green buildings fundamentally impact the health and productivity of employees, so it is not only an ethical choice but also a strategic advantage, helping our employers to attract and retain the best talent,” explained Rosengren.
The construction of Park Rae has started, and the company is looking for long-term tenants and offering to adapt premises to tenant needs.
East Capital Real Estate is developing the logistics park on behalf of East Capital Holding AB. On November 8, the infrastructure of the logistics park was opened in the presence of the company’s employees, partners, and representatives of Rae municipality.
