Google Pixel is a line of consumer devices manufactured by Google that runs either Chrome OS or Android. The first-generation Chromebook Pixel launched the Pixel brand in February 2013. Laptops, tablets, and smartphones, as well as a variety of peripherals, are all part of the Pixel series. It’s no secret that Google is working on new Pixel devices, especially since the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro were just announced.

According to NotebookCheck, leakers such as @OnLeaks have published renderings of the Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro, all of which are based on the current Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The first Android 13 Developer Preview, on the other hand, contains allusions to yet-to-be-released Pixel devices as well as Google’s next-generation Tensor processor, codenamed GS201.

Xiaomi discovered the model ‘GX7AS’ on IMEI databases among over a dozen other Google smartphones a few months ago. Now, on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, Mysmartprice has located a certification for ‘GX7AS.’ The BIS announced its ‘GX7AS’ certification on February 18, with the brand designated as ‘G Logo,’ as shown in the screenshot below. The certification also indicates that ‘GX7AS’ is a phone; Google is also said to be working on a wearable and a tablet this year. Unfortunately, there is no information on which smartphone ‘GX7AS’ may be on the listing. However, its presence in the BIS database suggests that a Pixel smartphone will be released in India this year.

Google decided not to release the Pixel 5 or Pixel 6 series in India for unknown reasons, keeping the Pixel 4a as the country’s most recent Pixel device. For reference, the Pixel 6a is slated to be announced in May, maybe alongside the Pixel Watch.

To summarise what we know so far, the Pixel 7 generation is supposed to be an evolution of the present Pixel 6 design. The curved OLED display on the Pixel 7 Pro is likely to be 6.7″ or 6.8″ in size, while the flat OLED on the Pixel 7 is expected to be somewhat smaller than the Pixel 6’s at 6.2 inches.
