Ibrahim Ali Khan Clarifies He Didn’t Drive Dad Saif After Getting Stabbed: ‘He Walked In With A Knife’

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan left his fans in shock and disbelief when he was involved in a stabbing incident. While he recovered from his wounds, after undergoing surgery to remove a piece of the knife lodged in his spine, and has started working again, fans still wish for his well-being. Now, his elder son Ibrahim Ali Khan has recalled the traumatic incident and shared that he was informed about it all three hours after it happened, as he was busy shooting that night.

Talking about it during his interaction with GQ, Indian Express quoted the 24-year-old actor saying, “I was shooting a night shift. He was stabbed around 2:30am and I was informed at 5:30am. I hadn’t slept that night and I rushed to see him. He had just come out of the ICU after surgery. He opened his eyes, spoke to Sara for a bit, and asked for me.”

I wish I had been there.” Recalling the moment he found out that the 54-year-old actor was stabbed, he “started to think of the worst-case scenario.” He called it a “very scary feeling.”

Well, as the actor and the family were recuperating from the incident, several media reports claimed that it was Ibrahim who drove Saif to the hospital along with his younger brother Taimur Ali Khan. Dismissing the claims, he clarified, “To everyone saying I drove him to the hospital with my baby brother, I would like to clarify that my dad walked into the hospital himself. He walked in with a knife stuck in him and said, ‘I need help’.”
