Elon Musk Trolls Jeff Bezos With A Silver Medal After Extending His Lead In The World’s Richest Race

Apart from being the world’s richest man, Elon Musk is also one of the most talked-about men on social media. With millions of followers on the microblogging site itself, the SpaceX and Tesla founder, who is an avid social media user himself, keeps on interacting and sharing knowledge and updates from the world of technology with his followers. But with Musk’s latest comment on Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ tweet, the rivalry between the two billionaires seems to be getting more intense with time.

Bezos recently shared Barron magazine’s cover from 1999 that predicted Amazon’s failure while calling the now-billionaire a ‘middleman’. “Listen and be open, but don’t let anybody tell you who you are. This was just one of the many stories telling us all the ways we were going to fail,” he tweeted.

Furthermore, Bezos added, “Today, Amazon is one of the world’s most successful companies and has revolutionized two entirely different industries,” the Blue Origin founder wrote. And within no time, Musk responded with a silver medal emoji, reminding the Amazon founder of his position in the world’s richest list.

While the longstanding feud between the two billionaires has been going on for years, it seemed to have escalated earlier this year, when Bezos founded aerospace company Blue Origin filed a series of lawsuits against Musk’s aerospace company, SpaceX. Since then, Musk has used the microblogging site to take numerous jibes at Bezos.

Musk had even shared his view on the same when he was quizzed about the lawsuits at an event. “I think he should put more of his energy into getting to orbit than lawsuits. You cannot sue your way to the Moon. No matter how good your lawyers are,” Musk quipped.
