Delano Expands Globally With New Hotels in Miami, NYC & London

Delano‘s high-style comeback is putting a foot on the gas — and this time, the brand’s iconic white-on-white aesthetic is going global.

Ennismore, Accor’s fast-growing lifestyle division, announced Wednesday morning the next wave of Delano’s evolution, with signings for Delano SoHo New York and Delano London, alongside the highly anticipated 2026 reopening of the original Delano Miami Beach. The revival marks a defining moment for one of the most influential lifestyle brands in modern hospitality and a return to the kind of elegance, art and social magnetism that made the South Beach original an icon of 1990s design.

This momentum builds on recent debuts in Paris and Dubai, signaling that Delano is no longer just a Miami Beach institution but a globally recognized player in the luxury lifestyle space. The expansion follows Ennismore’s partnership with investment firm Cain International, which took a minority stake in Delano in 2024, and the appointment of Ben Pundole as chief brand officer, a move that reunites one of Ian Schrager’s longtime collaborators with the brand he helped define in its heyday.

“Few hospitality brands have achieved such cultural resonance, and as we look ahead, we remain committed to protecting that legacy while evolving it for a new generation of discerning travellers,” Sharan Pasricha, founder and co-CEO of Ennismore, said in a statement. “With Ben on board, Delano will continue to blend refinement, relevance, and innovation, creating experiences that are not only memorable but truly iconic.”

The Return of an Icon: Delano Miami Beach

The 171-room Delano Miami Beach will reopen in early 2026 after an extensive restoration that preserves its Art Deco heritage while layering in contemporary elegance. The property will feature Poolside Bungalow Suites, Penthouse Suites, and four dining and bar concepts, including a revived Rose Bar, the legendary haunt once known for its mix of Hollywood royalty and Miami society.

Delano’s reboot, which also includes concepts in Dubai and Paris, is a key piece of Accor and Ennismore’s strategy to reinvigorate classic lifestyle brands for a new generation of travelers who crave design-led luxury with a cultural edge.

Delano SoHo: A New York State of Mind

The Delano SoHo New York, developed in partnership with Cain, will transform the former Dominick Hotel in Hudson Square into a 390-room social enclave inspired by the downtown art scene. The design promises to balance “modern and classic, soft and sculptural” touches, creating both a serene retreat and a dynamic space for the city’s creative class.

Set to debut within a 46-story tower, the property will include expansive event spaces for immersive gatherings, a nod to Delano’s history of fusing hospitality with culture. One can’t help but feel this adds some heat to New York City’s sizzling lifestyle hotel scene currently popping with The Manner from the Standard-turned-Hyatt team as well as the revitalized W New York – Union Square

Delano London: Elegance by Hyde Park

Across the Atlantic, Delano London will open in late 2026 just steps from Kensington Gardens. Developed in partnership with Signature Developers and DCD Properties, the 67-room property will feature interiors described as “layered, textural, and sensual,” anchored by a lobby library and curated retail space that blend aristocratic heritage with modern sensibility.

The famed Rose Bar will also make its London debut — this time as a subterranean cocktail lounge designed for “after-dark elegance,” with low-slung velvet corners, live music, and a design palette of deep reds and sculptural textures.

A Global Pipeline of Glamour

According to Gaurav Bhushan, co-CEO of Ennismore, the brand’s expansion is only beginning.

“A strong pipeline, including projects in Istanbul, Puglia, Marrakesh, and Costa Rica, along with several others under negotiation in key markets, reflects the continued global appetite for this iconic brand,” he said. “What makes Delano so compelling for owners is its ability to combine timeless style, immersive lifestyle programming and a proven track record of cultural relevance. It’s a brand that not only creates exceptional guest experiences but also delivers long-term value, which is why it continues to resonate so strongly with our partners around the world.”

Born in Miami and reborn around the world, Delano remains one of the most evocative names in luxury lifestyle hospitality — a brand that has consistently married timeless design, cultural cachet and social energy. I often find myself debating if Gloria Estefan, Delano or “The Birdcage” did more for putting Miami on the cultural map over the last 40 years, but that’s a “Conga” conversation for a different time and story.

With Pundole’s creative leadership and Ennismore’s momentum, the next era of Delano looks poised to bring that spirit, and a new shade of “Delano white,” to a global audience.
