Tamil actor Samyukta Shanmughanathan (39) tied the knot with former Indian Premier League (IPL) player Anirudha Srikkanth (38). Samyuktha, the actress who appeared in Bigg Boss Tamil Season 4, shared the pictures of the wedding on her instagram.
Samyuktha, a Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) native, commenced her career in modeling before stepping into the world of showbiz. The former Miss Chennai (2007) has starred in Madras Mafia Company (2025), Tughlaq Durbar (2021), and Varisu (2023), among others. She was earlier married to Karthik Shankar, whom the actor divorced, accusing him of infidelity. Allegedly the man had an extramarital affair running for four years while sharing a son with the actress. In 2024, she got engaged to veteran Indian opener Krishnamachari “Kris” Shrikkanth, aka Cheeka’s son Anirudh, who had a stint with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) between 2008 and 2013. Anirudh does commentary now. He was earlier married to Arthi Venkatesh, a model and actor.
