Amazon Web Services (AWS) faced a major outage which was later restored. The outage affected many users and companies like Hulu, Slack, and Epic Games.

Also, these companies stated that a few issues have been raised due to the outage.

Amazon later claimed that the outage is due to the power outage at one of its data centres.

“The issue has been resolved and the service is operating normally,” said Amazon Web Services.

According to Reuters reports, Amazon shared that the outage hit the platform that offers computing capacity to cloud network by AWS.

Office Workspace platform Slack reported that its users are facing issues with message editing, file uploads, and other services.

Another office messaging platform Asana also faced issues due to the outage. It reported that most of the users can’t even access the platform.

However, this is not the first time as there was a major outage in the previous month which affected the functioning of popular streaming platforms like Netflix, Disney+Hotstar, HBO, and many more. Besides, a few smart home security cams were also impacted.
