Kya aapke kitchen mein cylinder hai? The endless queues outside the LPG distribution centers around the country remind me of the demonetization that also took several lives. There are already a couple of deaths being reported. The government is on overdrive trying to quell the paranoia, stating how aal iz well with the LPG supply, while in the same vein suggesting to switch to PNG (piped natural gas) asap.
Meanwhile, eateries across the country are shuttering or truncating their menu, adding a gas cess in the bill. It’s hard to find cylinders as hoarders sell in black for upwards of Rs 2000 for domestic purposes. Haalat aisi hai ki now outlets are resorting to creative tactics to procure gas. The following eatery is offering 50 plates of momos free to any customer who shows up with a filled LPG cylinder.

#LPGCrisis #Ahmedabad #GasShortage #ReporterDiary |@AtulTiwari90 pic.twitter.com/J6PZ87MKqD

Is the LPG available on call? Customers sharing their grievances online paints a sordid picture. Does the app work? It sure does but you’d never know the delivery. Users have been flocking to the Google Play store to download the LPG suppliers’ apps, so much so that IndianOil’s apps have surged past ChatGPT to top the chart. The 42 MB app is exactly double the size of OpenAI’s chatbot.

Is this a thing to brag about? You decide.
