South Korean boy band Bangtan Sonyeondan (BTS) consists of seven members, including RM, Jin, J-Hope, Suga, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. After around a four-year hiatus, since the members were completing their mandatory military services, fans worldwide were left ecstatic when they announced that they would be going on a World Tour in 2026. Well, amidst speculations of the countries they will be visiting and their upcoming projects, Kim Taehyung, who goes by the stage name V, has hinted that the boy band might come to India soon.

Currently working on their new album, which is reportedly set to be released in March 2026, the boy band will then set out on a World Tour performing for their fans, well-known as ARMYs, in major countries and cities. Well, on December 27, V hosted a live interaction on Weverse, opening up about a lot. While the group and their music label are yet to unveil the full list of places where the concerts will be hosted, he dropped a major hint that they might visit and perform in India next year. Responding to a desi ARMY’s greeting, he was heard saying, “Namaste, Indian ARMYs. See you next year.”
It is safe to say that the fans couldn’t keep their calm, as they rushed to the social media handles to gush about it. Many couldn’t contain their excitement and even started planning how they needed to save up for the concert so that they could see their boys live.

Earlier in the year, when it was announced that BTS would be going on a worldwide tour covering around 60-65 cities, there was social media chatter that they might come to India as well. When India Today had reached out to Big Hit Music for a confirmation on the same, they had kept the answer vague. They had told the media publication, “Details regarding BTS’ new album and the scale of the world tour remain unconfirmed.”

On the work front, Kim Taehyung, along with the rest of his six bandmates, is currently busy working on their upcoming album. Said to release in 2026, they will also be going on a world tour, their first one after 2019.
