The upcoming action-thriller Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups stars Yash in the lead role, with Huma Qureshi playing a key character named Elizabeth. On Sunday, the makers unveiled Huma’s first-look poster on the film’s official Instagram handle, adding to the growing buzz around the project.

The poster presents Huma Qureshi in a striking graveyard-like setting, surrounded by old tombstones and stone statues. Dressed in an all-black outfit and standing beside a vintage black car, her look suggests a character that is calm, composed, and quietly intense, offering a glimpse into the darker tone of the film.

Director Geetu Mohandas spoke about the decision to cast Huma Qureshi, calling the role one of the most challenging to fill. “Casting for this role was perhaps the trickiest. The character demanded a performer with high-octane caliber and an undeniable presence,” she said, adding that Huma’s “effortless sophistication and intensity” instantly brought the character of Elizabeth to life.

Toxic marks Yash’s return to the big screen after KGF: Chapter 2. The film has been in development for a considerable period and is being shot in both Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned in multiple Indian languages, signalling its ambition as a pan-India and international release.

Several fans reacted to this first look by commenting on the post like “rawKING”, “Hollywood Vibes”, “Vintage Queen”, “This is insane” and so on.
