Akshay Kumar Secretly Takes Housefull 5 Audience Review Outside Theatre; ‘Pakda Jaane Wala Tha’

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar pulled off a delightful stunt on Friday as he went undercover outside a Bandra theatre in Mumbai to gather feedback from audiences watching his latest release, Housefull 5.

Disguised in a ‘killer’ mask and holding a microphone, the actor approached moviegoers by personally asking for their thoughts on the movie.

In the clip, Akshay is seen approaching fans exiting the theatre, eagerly inquiring about their reactions to Housefull 5, which hit screens on June 6. The responses were overwhelmingly positive, with one fan describing the film as ‘sexy,’ while others praised its fun and thoroughly entertaining vibe.

Sharing the video, Akshay expressed his excitement about the impromptu experience. “Bas yun hi I decided to wear the killer mask and interview people coming out of the ‘Housefull 5’ show at Bandra today. Pakda jaane wala thaa end mein but bhaag gaya us se pehle. Mast experience (sic),” he captioned the video.

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan, Housefull 5 boasts a star-studded cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Fardeen Khan, Nana Patekar, Nargis Fakhri and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others.

At the domestic box office, Housefull 5 has crossed the Rs 50-crore mark within just two days, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The film minted Rs 24 crore on its opening day, securing the fourth-biggest opening in Akshay Kumar’s career, and followed it up with an estimated Rs 30 crore on Day 2, bringing its total India net collection to Rs 54 crore.
