CMF Phone 2 Pro Price Leaked Ahead Of April 28 Launch; Nothing’s Budget Flagship In Focus

Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is all set to launch its new smartphone, the CMF Phone 2 Pro, in India on April 28. With just a few days to go, the buzz is building fast, thanks to official teasers and a few interesting leaks that have given us a decent look at what’s coming.

One of the biggest talking points right now is the expected pricing. According to well-known tipster Yogesh Brar, the base variant of the Phone 2 Pro might be priced at around Rs 20,000, offering 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. That puts it right in the sweet spot for buyers looking for a feature-rich device without burning a hole in their pocket. There could also be a higher storage model priced closer to Rs 22,000, though that’s still unconfirmed, especially since the original leak was later deleted.

As for what’s inside the phone, CMF has already confirmed that it’ll be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chip, which should deliver smooth performance whether you’re gaming, multitasking, or browsing. Another neat addition is the Essential Space key, an AI-powered feature introduced in the Nothing Phone 3a series that makes everyday tasks quicker and easier.

The camera setup is also getting a serious upgrade. The CMF Phone 2 Pro will feature a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens that offers a 119.5-degree field of view. For a phone in this price range, that’s a pretty impressive lineup.

On the design and display front, we’re expecting a 120Hz AMOLED screen, likely protected by Corning Gorilla Glass for added durability. The design itself has seen some refinement too, you’ll notice visible screws along the frame, hinting at modular customization options, something CMF seems to be pushing as a standout feature.

All things considered, the CMF Phone 2 Pro is shaping up to be a strong entry in the budget-premium category. It’s packing a solid spec sheet, promising design tweaks, and that all-important balance of performance and price. We’ll have to wait until April 28 for the full reveal, but this one’s definitely worth keeping an eye on.
