Despite his hectic work schedules and other professional commitments, SpaceX and Tesla founder Elon Musk always manages to find time to connect with his followers and solve their queries, in addition to sharing his views on various science and technology-related topics on Twitter. But seems like his recent tweet about physicist James Clerk Maxwell has gone viral due to a perfectly-timed misunderstanding.

Given the billionaire’s immense popularity, Musk’s tweet “Maxwell was incredible,” that was in regards to scientist James Clerk Maxwell, was misunderstood to be for Aussie all-rounder Glenn Maxwell. The epic misunderstanding happened due to Musk tweet coinciding with Maxwell’s unbeaten half-century, that helped his IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals. The confusion directed several desi-cricket fans towards Musk’s tweet resulting in a hilarious banter over the now-viral tweet.

Known for his futuristic visions, Musk enjoys a huge following on social media, and given the recent success of his aerospace company SpaceX’s all-civilians space mission, the 50-year-old billionaire has managed to recently reclaim the title of the world’s richest man by surpassing the $200 billion mark, according to Forbes.

Meanwhile, Musk’s recent interview where he opened up about his personal life and equation with partner Grimes left everyone stunned. Confirming the news that they have parted ways, Musk said, “We are semi separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms.”
