Getting right on track, being the son of one of the biggest superstars of the Hindi entertainment industry, Aryan has seen and experienced it all. Being a new filmmaker, and given the doubts everyone was having regarding whether he would be able to take his father’s legacy forward or not, he has proved that he is indeed King Khan’s son. While the superstar is known for his witty personality, it seems like Aryan too has inherited it and put it to excellent use in his show.

The Ba***ds of Bollywood is proof that Aryan has closely studied every little thing said & discussed about the Hindi film industry, the controversies that keep on popping up, as well as the issues faced by celebrities on a daily basis.

From showcasing a spoof of his own arrest in the drug case by making a police officer arrive at a party in search of celebrities doing drugs, or recreating the infamous Ananya Panday & Siddhant Chaturvedi roundtable discussion on outsiders vs nepotism, to diving into the nitty-gritties of struggling actors & celebrities, as well as unveiling some dark truths about Bollywood, Khan has filled with easter eggs you may or may not miss, if you are not a fan. Every little easter egg you find will make you giddy with excitement.

Packed with humour, a twinge of romance, and a whole lot of bromance, the web series is a treat to watch. Every episode is perfectly layered with cliché tropes, recreations of controversies, blind articles published on Reddit, and shocking twists, which you will love unveiling minute by minute. While there are moments that will make you question why it was necessary to add it in the show, it will be easy to just shrug it off as just another “Bollywood thing.”

Talking about the performances, it was a treat to witness everyone essay their roles perfectly. Getting the opportunity to witness so many new as well as old talents together was certainly a treat. And not to mention cameos by so many Bollywood celebrities, some of which leave you by surprise, and others with a smile on your face or a chuckle. Everyone was perfectly cast in their roles.

On the other hand, the music of the show never felt like an unnecessary addition. Be it as a song or a background noise, the show is edited perfectly. It is a good weekend watch… You can either watch it with your family, friends, or even alone.

And last but not least, Aryan Khan has finally unveiled the mystery behind the asterisks in The Ba***ds of Bollywood; it’s… (you will have to watch the show for that *wink wink*)
