Stranger Things S5 Finale: Duffer Brothers Gives An Emotional Sendoff To Hawkins Heroes Triggering Memefest On X

This will be short, I promise. The series finale, the final episode in the 5th season of the smash hit Netflix show Stranger Things, has the fans divided, with the majority grieving the fact that the show is finally over after almost a decade. The stars of the show grew from preteens to tweens during the course of the 42 episodes. Stranger Things has an overall IMDB rating of 8.6. Fans pegged their hope on the show creators, the Duffer Brothers, on giving a fitting ending for the TV series.

However, there was much skepticism over fitting every major character and plotline into two hours’ worth of finale. Hence a section of disappointed fans who didn’t see some of the star characters, including Suzie, Dr. Sam Owens, and Argyle, to name a few, return in the final season.

The battle for the endgame did not feature the demo bats either for which Dustin and Steve were enthusiastically prepared, reminding fans of the fate of Eddie. At this point there was just too much going on to put a wrap on every other loose end.

The writers did give their best to give an apt closure for the select few with whom the show commenced in 2016. A few fans have questions about the existence of the mind flayer, which is essentially dark particles. Did it escape after the beast in the abyss was killed?

I hope the Duffer Brothers have an extended version of every episode of Season 5 and maybe give some of the unresolved conflicts in a spinoff or … maybe not. Speaking of spinoffs, will Holly Wheeler, Derek and the squad continue with a new adventure?

Anyways, here are the memes you were promised in the title:
