
Actress Millie Bobby Brown, who became a household name after starring in Netflix’s science fiction show Stranger Things, is currently gearing up for the release of the show’s fifth and final season. As the excitement of fans is dying down, post the release of Stranger Things season 5’s trailer, the actress has now filed a formal complaint against co-star David Harbour, who essays the role of Jim Hopper, Eleven’s father figure. According to Hindustan Times, she has accused him of “bullying and harassing” her during the production of the show’s final season.
It is to be noted that these shocking allegations have come at a time when the streaming giant, Netflix, is preparing for the grand conclusion of its much-anticipated global franchises. Quoting a report by Radaronline.com, the media publication stated that the allegations have prompted Netflix to conduct an internal investigation. The sources have clarified that the allegations don’t involve any sexual misconduct.
Reportedly, the outcome of the investigation remains undisclosed. Quoting an insider mentioned in Radaronline.com, HT states, “Millie Bobby Brown filed a harassment and bullying claim before they started shooting the last season. There were pages and pages of accusations. The investigation went on for months.”
While Netflix seems to have declined to comment on the serious claims, reports state that Netflix wants to keep the focus on the series finale. The source added, “It will be a theatrical event. Nothing is going to overshadow this, not even the leading man’s private life.”
The upcoming season will reportedly have eight episodes. Namely, The Crawl (episode 1), The Vanishing of… (episode 2), The Turnbow Trap (episode 3), Sorcerer (episode 4), Shock Jock (episode 5), Escape From Camazotz (episode 6), The Bridge (episode 7), The Rightside Up (episode 8). Written and directed by The Duffer Brothers, episodes 3 and 5 are directed by Frank Darabont, episode 6 by Shawn Levy, and episode 7 by Dan Trachtenberg. Reportedly, the first part of season 5 will release on Netflix on 27 November, the second part will release on 26 December, and the film will be released on 1 January 2026.
