Silversea has enhanced its fare structure, providing guests with greater flexibility by introducing three new fare types. These new fare types will enable guests to personalize their travel experiences with pre- and post-cruise add-ons—including air travel, hotels, transfers, and land experiences. Remaining unchanged, Silversea’s all-inclusive onboard offering will continue to be one of the most comprehensive at sea.
Silversea’s three new fares include:
- “All-Inclusive Plus Fare” – It requires a refundable deposit, and offers the brand’s “Fare Guarantee Program.” When opting for this fare on oceangoing voyages, guests will enjoy a shore excursion credit—determined by the length and region of the sailing—that they can apply to the experiences of their choice. All expedition voyages will continue to offer included shore excursions as part of the experience, as well as Zodiac tours, expert lectures, in-country flights, pre-/post-cruise hotel nights as required by the destination and other customary inclusions.
- “All-Inclusive Fare” – Available exclusively on oceangoing voyages, this fare type offers guests the flexibility to purchase shore excursions à la carte, either before the cruise or on board. “All Inclusive Fares” will require a non-refundable deposit.
- “Last-Minute Fare” – Available on select oceangoing and expedition voyages within five months of departure, this fare type offers guests favorable savings. The deposit is non-refundable, and the total payment must be paid in full at the time of booking.
Guests can opt to purchase their air travel, pre- and post-cruise hotels, transfers, shore excursions, and land experiences through Silversea for all fares, tailored to their needs and preferences.
Silversea’s all-inclusive onboard offering will remain consistent, regardless of guests’ preferred fare type. See below for a more detailed overview of the inclusions for each of Silversea’s three new fares:
- Credit amount varies by departure and can only be applied to Highlight Experiences, Signature Experiences and Private Experiences
- Number of dining options varies by ship
- When required by destination
- Included Expedition gear varies by region and departure
While Silversea strives to serve all listed items, some may be subject to availability or excluded in certain destinations, such as Galápagos. Expedition Voyages do not include the “All-Inclusive Fare.”
Land Experiences
With the introduction of its enhanced fare structure, Silversea is also broadening its shore excursion offering with all-new experience types. The brand’s land experiences will include:
- Highlight Experiences – Seamless tours of iconic sites
- Signature Experiences – Smaller tours, crafted by Silversea
- Private Experiences – Exclusive tours for a group of guests
- Custom Experiences – Tailor-made tours
- Overland Experiences – Two-/three-day mid-cruise inland tours (available on select voyages)
The brand recently launched City Stays by Silversea—pre- and post-cruise hotel stays in iconic destinations such as Copenhagen, Rome, Barcelona and Athens. City Stays by Silversea enable guests to live like locals in a centrally located, luxury hotel with personalized service, immersing them in their embarkation/debarkation city while offering a turnkey solution to their ground arrangements. Guests gain an appreciation for authentic life in the city, enjoying dining experiences, historical and cultural insights through curated tours and meaningful interactions with the local community.
Note: Door-to-Door, Port-to-Port or Essential Fare bookings made prior to September 11, 2025, will be honored as the fare type reserved until departure date regardless of sailing year.
