Shruti Haasan Weeps As CSK Loses To SRH In Chennai Stadium; Fans Say, ‘Rula Diya Na’

Over the years, actress Shruti Haasan has garnered a huge fan base across the nation. She was spotted at the Chepauk Stadium, in Chennai, on Friday evening. She attended the IPL 2025 match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). For the occasion, she was spotted in casual yet chic clothes. Photos and video of her giggling and having the time of her life.

However, another video surfaced shortly after where she was seen wiping her tears after CSK once again lost the match. CSK fans were left disappointed after they suffered a crushing defeat in the match. They lost against SRH. Watching their favourite team lose, fans expressed their sadness on social media. A viral video of Shruti crying and wiping her tears has also gone viral on social media.

Sharing the video, a netizen wrote, “Shruti Haasan couldn’t hold back the tears after CSK’s loss.” Another one wrote, “Shruti Haasan breaks down after CSK loss.” In another video, actor Ajith Kumar was also spotted enjoying the match with his family, his son also wore a CSK jersey for the occasion, extending his support to MS Dhoni’s team.

On the work front, Shruti Haasan will be next seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, where she will share the screen space with superstar Rajinikanth. The action thriller will be released later this year. Fans are eagerly waiting for an official announcement on the same by the filmmakers. She also has Jana Nayagan and Train in her pipeline. She will also reprise her role in Prabhas starrer Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.
