Samsung Electronics has launched its new 60W Power Adapter in India following the debut of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which supports up to 60W fast charging. Designed to power not just smartphones but also laptops and audio devices, the new charger aims to deliver faster charging speeds while minimising energy waste and cable clutter. Built using Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, it replaces traditional silicon components to improve efficiency in a compact design, enabling cooler operation and reduced power loss.
Samsung has equipped its new 60W Power Adapter with USB Power Delivery 3.1 and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) support. PPS allows real-time adjustments in voltage and current based on a device’s needs, ensuring optimised charging speeds while helping maintain long-term battery health. This adaptive power management ensures connected devices draw only the required power.

According to Samsung, the charger can power the Galaxy S26 Ultra up to 75% in just 30 minutes. The adapter also features ultra-low standby power consumption of 0.005W when plugged in but not actively charging, reducing unnecessary electricity usage.
The company adds that the charger has received Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certification and incorporates 20% recycled material in its construction. Samsung says a single 60W adapter can replace multiple chargers for compatible devices such as smartphones, laptops and earbuds, helping users cut down on cable clutter.
Priced at Rs 3,499, the Samsung 60W Power Adapter is available via Samsung’s official website, Flipkart, Amazon and select retail stores across India. With GaN-based efficiency, PPS-enabled fast charging and improved energy management, the adapter strengthens Samsung’s growing accessories portfolio focused on smarter power delivery.
