Redmi Note 14 SE 5G to Feature Dimensity 7025 Ultra, 120Hz Screen in India Debut

Redmi has announced the upcoming launch of the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G in India, expanding its Note 14 5G series that originally debuted in December 2024. The new budget smartphone is expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset and support up to 16GB of RAM (including virtual memory). While Xiaomi is marketing it with bold claims like “killer specs and killer price,” early details suggest that the Note 14 SE 5G may simply be a rebranded or slightly modified version of the existing Redmi Note 14 5G. The phone is scheduled to officially launch in India on July 28.

Redmi India has officially announced that the Redmi Note 14 SE 5G will launch in the country on July 28, as confirmed via a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Redmi Note 14 SE 5G Expected Specifications

Ahead of its India launch, Redmi has unveiled key specifications of the upcoming Note 14 SE 5G, confirming it will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2,100 nits peak brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, and an in-display fingerprint scanner for a premium user experience.

Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC, paired with up to 16GB RAM, including virtual RAM expansion. This hardware setup suggests the phone aims to balance performance and affordability in the mid-range segment.

In the camera department, the Note 14 SE 5G will sport a triple rear camera system, led by a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS for enhanced low-light performance. The phone also includes dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 300% volume boost. It will pack a 5,110mAh battery with TurboCharge fast charging, and a TÜV SÜD certification claiming a four-year battery lifespan.

While pricing details are yet to be revealed, it is expected to sit below the existing Note 14 series, where the Redmi Note 14 5G starts at ₹17,999, and the Pro and Pro+ models are priced at ₹23,999 and ₹29,999, respectively. The teaser also hints at a red colour variant among other options, adding to its visual appeal.
