Preity Zinta Slams Troll Dissing Kings XI Punjab Team: ‘Someone Who Never Achieved in Life’

Kings XI Punjab’s owner, Preity Zinta, whose followers converse with her on X/Twitter as #pzchat, had a freewheeling conversation on the app. She addressed some rumors, wished a fan happy birthday, spilled the backstory behind a viral pic with Virat Kohli, and slammed a troll while at it.

Speaking of the viral picture with Kohli at an IPL event, the Indian actress and entrepreneur remarked that they were showing pictures of each other’s children. She reminisced about how she first met Kohli 18 years ago when “he was a spirited teenager buzzing with talent and fire.” She added, “Today he still has that fire & is an icon & a very sweet & doting father.

Preity Zinta further revealed whether she played any cricket and, if so, what her preference was.

“I played very little cricket,” the 50-year-old answered, adding, “but I prefer batting any day.”

Your team will not win for sure,” a troll tweeted, upon which the Veer-Zaara (2004) star erupted. She quipped,

“Spoken like someone who has never achieved anything in life. Since you have bravely attempted to participate in our chat, here is a valuable lesson. Either have something constructive to say or keep quiet. I sincerely hope for your sake that you have a rich daddy to drag you along in life, cuz this attitude can only fit in those circles, not in front of self-made high achievers.”

Answering to another user on how she deals with trolls, Zinta stated,

“Mostly, I ignore the trolls, as only those people troll who are not happy with themselves or miserable in their lives, so I do feel bad for them. Sometimes, when I’m not trying to be a better human being, I just snap back and give them a taste of their own medicine! Whenever I’ve done so, I’ve realized they are usually spineless people that either delete those comments or change their profile pictures or just disappear into oblivion.”

Preity Zinta was last seen in Bhaiaji Superhit (2018) alongside Sunny Deol. She’ll return to the silver screen in Rajkumar Santoshi’s directorial period drama Lahore 1947, co-starring Sunny again.
