Party Of Two! Meta’s Instagram Rolling Out Microdrama Series For The Indian Gen Z: Watch



Meta’s photo-sharing platform Instagram has rolled out a new microdrama series in India as part of its broader strategy to encourage creative expression among Gen Z users.

The initiative is a part of the platform’s localized approach to its global ‘Anyway’ campaign, which originally launched in June. The series, titled ‘Party of Two’, follows two Gen Z flatmates with conflicting personalities. The snippets from their lives will assuredly inspire the youngsters to go out and about with their creative zest.

The 7 episode ‘Party of Two’ series features actors and creators Nidhi Bhanushali aka @_ninosaur and Sunakshi Grover aka @sunakshigrover. The series has been developed in partnership with creative agency Communique and directed by Samudra Sengupta & Gopikrishnan Nair.

Arun Srinivas, Country Director, Meta, India quipped

“As Instagram turns 15 this year, we’re investing more in enabling creative expression than ever before. This includes launching new apps like Edits for video creatives, or features like Trials and Reposts. We hope the byte-sized nature of microdramas, hosted on reels, and combined with a storyline that appeals to Gen Z, encourages them to tap into their own everyday experiences and share them creatively on Instagram.”
