OnePlus Pad 3 Review: The Best Android Productivity Tablet You Can Buy In India Right Now

OnePlus recently launched the Pad 3 and we at Mashable India got a chance to experience it up close. With its premium build, large screen, impressive power, and several productivity features, this tablet is more than just a gadget for media, it’s aiming to be a serious tool for work and study.

What’s New And Noteworthy

Design-wise, the Pad 3 is sleek and minimal. It features a 13.2-inch LCD display with a 3.4K resolution and a rare 7:5 aspect ratio, making it wider and better suited to split-screen work than many standard tablets. The screen supports adaptive 144Hz refresh rate, high colour accuracy, and enough brightness for outdoor visibility. At about 5.97 mm thickness and weighing 675 grams, it still feels premium and usable, especially when paired with its keyboard or stylus accessories.

Inside, the Pad 3 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, with options up to 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. The OS is OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15, tuned for big-screen multitasking. In practical use, the tablet handles opening multiple apps, streaming, sketching or writing, and even some light photo editing with ease and very little lag or heating.

Battery life is a strong suit: its battery (12,140 mAh) easily delivers two full days of mixed use (studying, videos, browsing). Charging with the included 80W SuperVOOC charger gets it back from very low to full in about an hour under good conditions. Audio comes via an eight-speaker system that’s loud and quite clear; bass isn’t overwhelming but the mids and highs are well balanced.

Price And Indian Availability

The Pad 3 is officially available in India now. The base model (12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage) is priced at Rs 47,999. The higher-spec model (16 GB + 512 GB) comes in at Rs 52,999. With bank discounts and launch-time promotions, the entry price can drop to about Rs 42,999. Colour choices include Storm Blue and Frosted Silver. It is sold via OnePlus’s site, Flipkart, Amazon, and major offline retailers.
