Metro In Dino Teaser: Anurag Basu Explores Modern Love With Aditya, Sara & Ali Fazal



The first look of Anurag Basu’s upcoming film Metro…In Dino has been unveiled, featuring an ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee.

The teaser for the film’s first song, “Zamaana Lage”, sung by Arijit Singh, was released on Saturday. The song offers a glimpse into the film’s theme of modern-day relationships set against the chaotic yet emotional backdrop of urban life, perfectly aligning with the film’s title and tone.

T-Series released a one-minute YouTube teaser for Metro In Dino, highlighting that the film will explore fresh, complex stories reflecting the evolving city and its changing narratives.

The teaser clip introduces Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur standing together at a train station, highlighting their contrasting lives—Aditya enjoying the mountains while Sara lives a carefree city life. Ali Fazal is shown as a singer who falls for Fatima Sana Shaikh, with their story unfolding during a vibrant Holi event.

Meanwhile, Pankaj Tripathi’s character falls deeply for Konkona Sen Sharma’s, and the teaser also hints at the story involving Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher. The clip captures the complex emotions and high drama in the relationships of Ali, Aditya, and Sara, including scenes of intense emotional breakdowns. Overall, the film promises fresh and modern love stories set against the backdrop of the bustling city.

“Zamaana Lage,” the first song from Metro In Dino, is set to release on May 28. Sung by Arijit Singh and Shashwat Singh, with lyrics by Qaisar Ul Jafri and Sandeep Shrivastava, the song features music composed by Pritam. Described as “a modern ghazal for today’s soul,” the teaser highlights the film’s blend of music and poetry. Directed by Anurag Basu, Metro In Dino is slated for a theatrical release on July 4.
