Korean Air has been recognized for its world-class passenger experience, winning Best Cabin Service at the APEX Best Awards 2026. The airline also earned the Five-Star Global Airline rating for the ninth consecutive year from the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX).
Voted on by passengers themselves, the APEX awards are among the most respected in the aviation industry. The 2026 results are based on independently verified traveler feedback from more than one million flights across 600 airlines, collected in partnership with the TripIt mobile app. This recognition underscores Korean Air’s commitment to authentic hospitality and continuous innovation.
This year, Korean Air has also celebrated other major accolades. The airline was named Airline of the Year 2025 by AirlineRatings.com and earned Best Entertainment in East Asia at the 2025 APEX Best Awards. Its service has been complemented by international recognition, including gold medals for its business wines in Business Traveller’s Cellars in the Sky, and a fifth consecutive Skytrax 5-Star Airline rating, along with top placement in Skytrax’s World’s Best Airlines rankings.
Looking ahead, Korean Air is preparing to elevate the passenger experience even further with the rollout of new cabin products and the renewal of its premium lounges at major hubs in Los Angeles (LAX), New York (JFK), and Seoul (ICN). As the airline advances with its merger with Asiana Airlines, Korean Air bids to build a stronger, more competitive global network that will deliver even greater value to travelers worldwide.
