Kartik Aaryan Gets Overwhelming Response As Fans Mob Him In Gangtok During Shooting; Watch

Bollywood’s rising superstar Kartik Aaryan is currently in Gangtok, Sikkim, shooting for his much-anticipated film under the direction of Anurag Basu. His presence attracted hundreds of fans who mobbed him as the actor tried to get to shoot. Viral videos and photos from the sets, which surfaced online a few days ago, show Kartik being swarmed by enthusiastic admirers.

In one clip, Kartik, clad in a green jacket, is seen surrounded by fans as he tries to reach his car. The crowd’s excitement reached a fever pitch, with security personnel stepping in to escort him through the chaos. Despite the overwhelming attention, Kartik kept his cool, pausing to take selfies with fans and signing autographs.

The film’s team also hosted an event in Gangtok, where Kartik joined his co-star Sreeleela to engage with locals. Videos from the event capture him on stage among other visuals from the ongoing shoot.

The yet-untitled project marks the Bollywood debut of South Indian star Sreeleela, who replaced Triptii Dimri in the lead role for undisclosed reasons. Billed as a romantic musical, the film has already generated buzz, with earlier set photos adding to the anticipation.

Slated for a Diwali 2025 release, the movie is set to face off at the box office against Thama, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna.
