Hyundai Revamps Alcazar Lineup With New Mid-Spec Variants; Adds Affordable DCT Option

Hyundai has just made it easier for SUV lovers to get their hands on a premium Alcazar without stretching their budget. In a fresh update to the popular three-row SUV lineup, the company has introduced a new Corporate trim, offering more features at a relatively affordable price point. Until now, the Alcazar was available in four trims, Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature, with prices starting at Rs 14.99 lakh and going up to Rs 21.73 lakh (ex-showroom).

What’s New with the Corporate Trim?

The new Corporate variant finds a sweet spot between the existing Prestige and Platinum trims. Designed with value in mind, this mid-spec option is available only with a diesel engine and gives buyers a choice between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. It’s perfect for those who want a well-rounded package without paying top-tier prices.

One of the biggest talking points? A voice-enabled panoramic sunroof, previously a luxury exclusive to the top two trims, now comes included. It’s a welcome addition that adds both charm and practicality.

Feature Highlights

But the upgrades don’t stop at the sunroof. The Corporate trim is loaded with modern tech and comfort features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, ambient lighting, Hyundai Blue Link connected car tech, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

In terms of safety, it ticks all the right boxes with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), and Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), offering peace of mind for families on the go.

Under the Hood

The Alcazar still offers the same two engine choices: a 1.5-litre turbo petrol (158 bhp, 253 Nm) and a 1.5-litre diesel (114 bhp, 250 Nm). While both engines come with a manual gearbox by default, the petrol also gets a 7-speed DCT, and the diesel has a 6-speed automatic.

Hyundai has also made a smart addition to the Prestige petrol variant, now offering it with the DCT gearbox. Priced at Rs 18.63 lakh, it’s now the most affordable Alcazar with an automatic option.

New Prices (Ex-showroom):

  • Alcazar Corporate 7S Diesel MT – Rs 17.86 lakh
  • Alcazar Corporate 7S Diesel AT – Rs 19.28 lakh
  • Alcazar Prestige 7S Petrol DCT – Rs 18.63 lakh

With these updates, Hyundai is clearly aiming to offer more flexibility and better value to Indian SUV buyers.
