Shark Tank, the most viewed business reality show that originally aired in the U.S. recently got an Indian edition back in December. Streaming on Sony LIV, the show offers a chance to budding entrepreneurs to pitch their business ideas to some of the biggest business owners and investors in the country.
The jury of the series comprises of seven members – Ashneer Grover (co-founder of BharatPe), Aman Gupta (BoAt co-founder), Namita Thapar (Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Peyush Bansal (co-founder of Lenskart), Anupam Mittal (founder of People Group), Ghazal Alagh (co-founder of MamaEarth) and Vineeta Singh (co-founder of SUGAR). Aman Gupta

Aman Gupta is the co-founder and Chief Managing Officer of Indian electronics brand boAt. Gupta is pretty much self-made starting his career as an Assistant Manager at Citi. He later became the Director of Sales at HARMAN International before making an organic transition with BoAt.
Peyush Bansal

Bansal, who won hearts on Shark Tank for investing in Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare aka Jugaadu Kamlesh’s idea for a “pesticide trolley spray” to help farmers across India. Peyush is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lenskart who kickstarted his career with Microsoft back in 2007.
Namita Thapar
Net worth: 600 crores
Namita Thapar is one of the most successful female entrepreneurs in the game at the moment. She is the CEO of pharma corp Emcure Pharmaceuticals. Among multiple noteworthy stints overseas, including one at GlaxoSmithKline, she won awards including The Economic Times’ 40 Under 40.
Anupam Mittal
Net worth: 185 crores
Anupam Mittal who is the founder and CEO of People Group is perhaps the most diverse investor in successful businesses. He is the founder of the Indian matchmaking and matrimony website Shaadi.com and is a shareholder in the ridesharing app OLA.
Ghazal Alagh

Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of skincare and baby products brand Mamaearth, Ghazal Alagh is one of the Sharks on Shark Tank India. She is an artist and businesswoman on a mission to provide products free of harmful toxins.
Vineeta Singh
Net worth: 59 crores
Vineeta Singh is the Chief Executive Officer of cosmetics brand SUGAR. The 37-year-old’s net worth is around 59 crores. She is also the founder of the beauty brand FAB BAG.
