On Sunday evening, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor took to his official social media handle to announce that he has completed the shooting of his upcoming film with Vishal Bhardwaj. For the unversed, they have worked together in three movies: Kaminey (2009), Haider (2014), and Rangoon (2017). This project will be their fourth collaboration. Calling it a “special collaboration,” he said he will be essaying a “different character.”
Sharing a BTS photo from the shoot, he penned a lengthy note in his caption. Calling the filmmaker as “special man,” he wrote, “Excitement levels are off the charts. Our secretly titled soon to be announced film is done. As always it’s a new world and a madly different character for me to play. A titular part from him for the 3rd time. I am one of the ‘KAMINEY’ I am ‘HAIDER’ and now I am.”
The movie also stars an ensemble cast of Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Farida Jalal, Avinash Tiwary, and Disha Patani. After heaping praises on his co-actors, he also gushed about an actor who can’t be revealed yet. His caption further added, “And there’s is one more actor one of my favs who can’t really be revealed but it is such a pleasure to have him with us on this one. And lastly @nadiadwalagrandson for putting this all together. This one’s SUPER SPECIAL.”
As soon as the post was live, fans and netizens rushed to the comment section of the post to gush about their newest collaboration.
