Elon Musk Announces India Visit After Call With PM Modi; Internet Jibes ‘Goa Ya Manali Ka Plan Banake Aana’

Amid Tesla’s India expansion and SpaceX’s Starlink’s collaboration with Jio and Airtel for potential business in India, the growing online camaraderie between PM Modi and Elon Musk has created quite a buzz. Earlier the Indian prime minister tweeted the following on X/Twitter:

Spoke to Elon Musk and talked about various issues, including the topics we covered during our meeting in Washington, DC, earlier this year. We discussed the immense potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation. India remains committed to advancing our partnerships with the US in these domains.

Reacting to Modi’s tweet, Elon Musk tweeted,

One user took a dig at Modi and Musk over the raging northeastern state of India: “Visit Manipur with PM.”

Another user commented, “Mr. Elon, you’ve been saying this for 3 years and are still saying “later this year.” “Now, with all the hype you have created around your visit, make sure now that you make it huge!” the user added. “And go to China in the last moment, like last year,” another user shared similar sentiments.
