Aditya Dhar directorial Dhurandhar has been taking the box office by storm for the past month. Having released on December 5, 2025, the movies boasts of an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshay Khanna, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Saumya Tandon, and R Madhavan, among many others. With the second instalment of the film set to release in March 2026, fans are excited to know what the next film has in store for them.

Ahead of its announcements and release, the first film has been achieving incredible feats day by day as it continues its blockbuster run at the box office globally. Well, after becoming the fifth highest-grossing Indian film of all time, it has now made a mark for itself in the top 15 highest-grossing Indian films overseas, despite not being released in the Middle East.

On its 32nd day of successfully running in theatres, Dhuradhar saw a massive drop in its box office collections on its fifth Monday. It suffered a 65% drop in domestic collections and around 60% drop in the overseas market. It saw its first under Rs 10 crore collection on Monday.

As reported by Hindustan Times, despite it all the movie has managed to earn Rs 776.75 crore net and Rs 932 crore gross in Indian. Globally, it has surpassed the worldwide lifetime collections of Pushpa 2 and Sultan. Having earned over $31 million, Dhurandhar’s total worldwide gross collection has come up to Rs 1215 crore. It is all set to surpass SS Rajamouli’s film RRR’s (2022) worldwide lifetime collection of Rs 1230 crore.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal. Released on December 5, 2025, the second part of the film will be released in March 2026. While the makers are yet to officially comment on the speculation, netizens believe that Dhurandhar is a prequel to Dhar’s debut film URI: The Surgical Strike.
