Circularix has started commercial operations at its new food-grade rPET recycling facility in Ocala, FL, complementing its Hatfield, PA site.
Built and commissioned in record time, the plant expands capacity to supply high-quality rPET to major consumer brands.
Circularix also plans to grow output at Hatfield, reinforcing its role in advancing packaging sustainability goals.
“We built and commissioned this plant in record time,” said Leon Farahnik, Founder and CEO of Circularix. “From landing equipment in mid-March to reaching full production by August 1, this milestone is a testament to the dedication and expertise of our team. Their commitment made it possible to bring our second facility online at unprecedented speed.”
In addition to the Ocala launch, Circularix has initiated plans to expand capacity at its Hatfield, PA facility by taking over the adjacent industrial space. Once complete, this expansion will further increase output and strengthen Circularix’s ability to meet customer demand.
“With added capacity in Florida and future growth underway in Pennsylvania, we’re in a stronger position to allocate more high-quality rPET to our core partners and support their packaging sustainability goals,” Farahnik said.
Circularix has quickly established itself as a leader in the U.S. circular plastics economy. The company’s mission is to ensure recycled PET meets the highest standards of quality, consistency and safety for use in beverage, food and consumer packaging applications.
