BGMI 4.1 Update Out Now: Frosty Funland, Porsche Supercar, And New Anamika Event Added

Krafton India has launched the BGMI 4.1 update, the final major release of the year, packed with winter-themed and India-focused content. The update introduces Frosty Funland, featuring a new Penguin Town location, and debuts an India-exclusive horror character, Anamika – The Haunted Indian Bride. It also marks the return of Metro Royale with full season progression, alongside new vehicles, tactical gear, and a luxury Porsche supercar on the Erangel map.

The BGMI 4.1 update headlines with Frosty Funland, a brand-new winter-themed battleground set in Erangel. This seasonal mode transforms parts of the map into snowy zones like Penguinville, complete with mini Snow Festival villages, NPC interactions, and photo zones. Players can collect rewards through exploration, use Magic Ice Skates to glide across ice paths, and wield the new Winterland Kar-98K with ice-infused rounds. A new throwable item, the Swordfish Syringe, allows players to heal or boost teammates, while the Penguin Snowmobile and POWNIN the Ninja Penguin companion add fun new mobility and combat options to the game.

Adding a horror-inspired twist, as mentioned earlier, Krafton introduces Anamika – the Haunted Indian Bride, an India-exclusive NPC event. Players can face Anamika in Erangel for loot, limited-time rewards, and special Lucky Spin items. Her boss fight features mechanics like teleportation, knock-back strikes, and timed damage effects. Defeating her yields boss tokens exchangeable for premium rewards. This localised content highlights BGMI’s growing India focus, alongside the return of creator voice packs and cultural collaborations.

The Metro Royale mode also makes its long-awaited comeback, now revamped with deeper survival and extraction gameplay. Players must fight AI enemies, collect high-tier loot, and successfully extract to keep their gear. A new Command Centre enables NPC gifting, reward tracking, and daily limits, while improved pacing and refreshed reputation levels make the mode more approachable. With full seasonal rewards and permanent unlocks, Metro Royale now offers more structure and replayability for survival enthusiasts.

Rounding out the update, BGMI 4.1 adds a Porsche supercar in Speed Drift mode for realistic racing across maps, along with gameplay upgrades like solo round selection, one-tap loot sharing, and streamlined weekly missions. Themed events such as the Winter Warfare Exchange Centre and Mahindra BE6 vehicle spin bring new India-inspired rewards, outfits, and parachutes. With its mix of festive content, homegrown events, and polished gameplay systems, BGMI 4.1 delivers one of the most feature-rich and regionally tailored updates yet.
