This series documents stories from the Herman Cain Awards subreddit, tracking the COVID mis- and disinformation on Facebook that is leading to so many deaths. Today’s cautionary tale thought COVID was a “hoax” to defeat Trump.
On April 1, 2020, this was still Donald Trump’s White House. So I was curious: Is this when the anti-Anthony Fauci hysteria began on the right?
And yup. He fist contradicted Trump in late March. And of course, there’s no greater sin in Trump world than refusing to follow Trump’s idiocies.
This logic! “Even if the virus is real, we must resist because the government will NEVER forget.”
Sheesh, the government doesn’t want to do this? It’s electoral poison! That’s why Govs. Greg Abbott and Ron DeSantis are getting so much mileage out of putting their own supporters in the line of death.
The current score:
COVID: 825,605 dead
Lost constitutional rights: 0
Best throw away that smart phone, then.
Right, they predicted 275,000 deaths if the state wasn’t locked down. It was, and California has one of the lowest per capita death rates in the country (35th of 51) and falling as other states refuse to tread as carefully as California.
Oops.
Yeah, none of that is a thing that happened.
Have they never had to be tested for deadly diseases they may not know they have, like breast or colon cancer? There’s a reason we need regular physicals and bloodwork.
I would love to see a vaccine checkpoint, however. When can we get one of those?
A better analogy would’ve been that wild lion at the bottom, but wearing a simple cloth mask.
Also, wild lions are an endangered species.
Wut.
Nope.
It’s always interesting seeing the last post before their demise. This one was his, mocking emerging news about the omicron variant.
Oh boy, he looks nothing like that wolf meme. He was obese, which should’ve given him extra impetus to protect himself. Too much of that white-people Pepsi, probably.
He wasn’t “taken.” He freely surrendered to the virus, proudly refusing to take the available free and easy countermeasures.
