Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most tech-savvy actors from his generation. He often takes to his official social media handles and blog website to open up about his life experiences and share his thoughts as well as anecdotes. In his recent blog, he took some time off from his busy schedule to reflect on the concept of time. Sharing his take, he stated that for him, time is an eternal and divine force that shapes human life.
Opening up about the same, he explained in his post that time is “the cleanser.” Quoted by News18, he wrote further, “It is the formative aspect of time; it is timeless, sometimes restricting, but never meaningless. Difficult and perhaps to indulge in its understanding, but do we not all pay obeisance to it and embrace its engagement.. And that is the making of the human.”
Expressing how time is both generous and unpredictable, Bachchan added, “Its unretired nature is shown by the infestation of its offering. You want and get, you may not want but still get, or you may get and not desire. TIME….depth of experience, embracing eternity, true life not in fleeting moments but in eternal awareness of being.”
The 82-year-old actor, in his blog, further emphasised that time not only flows but also governs all aspect of life. He said, “Time decides, dictates, confirms, conjectures, and counts. And then GIVES. Its discovery will be timeless… at times infused with divinity…for the strength it pretends and delivers will reveal its feature. I had time today… Whether it gave me what I professed before is not in question… time delivers… and what it gives is ours and mine. Keep it, use it, or throw it away as garbage. It is your time.”
While sharing his views on time, the Brahmastra actor opened up about the love he has received from his loyal fans for the past many years. “And the everlasting love from all those that come, even in bad weather, is a blessing that shall never be forgotten. You are so I am,” he concluded.
