AmaWaterways, Mandarin Oriental Partner for Shore Experiences

AmaWaterways has announced a new partnership with Mandarin Oriental to introduce a collection of pre- and post-cruise land programs for travelers seeking the highest levels of comfort, personalization, and cultural immersion.

“This partnership brings together two brands that share a passion for delivering authentic, personalized luxury,” said Catherine Powell, CEO of AmaWaterways. “These exclusive experiences align perfectly with our commitment to thoughtfully curated travel.  Our guests will have the chance to enjoy the legendary elegance of Mandarin Oriental properties while further enhancing their journey with AmaWaterways, combining the highest standards of service and attention to detail both on land and on the river.”

Launching in 2026, the Mandarin Oriental Luxury Pre- and Post-Cruise Experiences will be available in select European cities including Barcelona, Geneva, Zürich, Madrid, Paris, Prague, Vienna, and Amsterdam, with Budapest to follow in 2027.

Each program combines seamless travel with exceptional service, allowing guests to extend their river cruise journey in style and comfort. Guests enjoy private drivers and guides, daily excursions, and door-to-door transfers between airport, hotel, and ship. Immersive culinary experiences, such as hands-on cooking demonstrations followed by lunch at a local restaurant, invite travelers to savor authentic regional flavors while connecting more deeply with each destination. Accommodations are provided at Mandarin Oriental properties, celebrated for their refined design, legendary service, and timeless sophistication.

Onboard, guests enjoy award-winning cuisine and AmaWaterways’ signature Wellness Hosts lead daily exercise and relaxation classes, providing guests with holistic experiences both on and off the ship. Leisure options onboard feature sun deck pools, walking tracks, fitness rooms, spas, and local cultural performances each evening. Guests are accompanied throughout their journey by a dedicated Cruise Manager and a highly attentive crew, with select suites offering butler service for the ultimate in personalized care.

With plans well underway for additional ships, new partnerships, and innovative programs, AmaWaterways continues to grow with a focus on meaningful expansion, enriching experiences, and continuing to provide guests with the best river cruising has to offer.
