The final episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3 featured Akshay Kumar as a guest on Kapil Sharma’s show, and it was full of fun. Kapil and Akshay had their usual playful moments. During the episode, Akshay made a joke about a shooting incident at Kapil’s café, Kap’s Cafe, in Canada. While joking, Akshay said, “Teen season Netflix pe kar chuka hai yeh. Uss pehle Sony pe tha, usse pehle Colors pe. Abhi do filmein kar raha hai. Isne apna restaurant khol liya aur itni aamdani hai ke waha goliyan bhi chali (laughs).” Kapil didn’t respond to the joke, just laughed, and moved on.
Kapil Sharma has been in the news since a second attack targeted his café in Canada. After another round of gunfire at the café, an audio recording from gangster Harry Boxer, connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, appeared on social media. In the audio, Harry Boxer warned, “The first and now second firing at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant happened because he had invited Salman Khan to the inauguration on a Netflix show.” He also threatened that anyone working with Salman Khan would die.

Salman Khan has been under police protection for a long time due to threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, especially after the blackbuck poaching case. This is the first time such a clear public threat has been made against someone for simply working with him. After the threats, the Crime Branch questioned Kapil Sharma to check if he had received any threats or extortion calls from the gang. Kapil said he had not faced anything like that. Sources say Kapil has been given proper security due to the threats. Police are now on high alert and are evaluating the danger to his life.
