Delta Air Lines has completed significant renovations to its Sky Club lounges in Philadelphia and Atlanta, aiming to address capacity issues and elevate the pre-flight experience for premium travelers. The airline also released a roadmap for future lounge openings and expansions in key markets including Jacksonville, Tampa, and Las Vegas through 2029.
The upgrades are part of a broader strategy to enhance the carrier’s lounge network following a year of heavy investment in 2025, which saw new openings in Seattle, Salt Lake City, and Orlando.
Philadelphia Club Capacity Doubles
At Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Delta has unveiled a fully transformed Sky Club located near Terminal D/E. The renovation has doubled the lounge’s seating capacity, now accommodating more than 140 guests compared to the previous 70.
The redesigned space features updated furniture, carpeting, and restrooms. To cater to premium travelers’ dining preferences, the club now offers an expanded buffet with improved traffic flow. The aesthetic overhaul includes regionally inspired artwork intended to reflect the city’s character.

Atlanta Hub Sees Systemwide Refresh
In Atlanta, Delta’s largest hub, the airline has refreshed three separate Sky Clubs: A17, A Centerpoint, and C37. Collectively, these renovations have increased seating capacity at the airport by approximately 15 percent.
Upgrades across these locations include the installation of new furniture and carpeting, as well as refreshed and expanded food and beverage bars. The check-in areas have been updated with repositioned kiosks designed to expedite entry — a critical pain point for frequent flyers during peak travel windows.
“Expansions like these give us the opportunity to not only serve more customers, but to look closely at how we’re serving them — through the design, flow and amenities provided,” Claude Roussel, the vice president of Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience, said in a statement.

Delta also announced a timeline for upcoming lounge projects, signaling a continued focus on network growth:
-
Atlanta (ATL): The Concourse F Sky Club will undergo a lobby renovation later this year, with further upgrades planned for the hub over the next few years.
-
Jacksonville (JAX): A relocated and fully renovated club is scheduled to open in early 2027. The new space will span approximately 10,000 square feet, tripling the size of the current lounge.
-
Tampa (TPA): In 2028, the Sky Club will move to the airport’s new Airside D, featuring a major expansion and renovation.
-
Las Vegas (LAS): The airport is set to receive its first-ever Delta Sky Club by 2029.
These investments follow Delta’s recent “Centennial” year milestones, which included the debut of a dual Sky Club and Delta One Lounge at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA).
