Regent Bali Canggu Debuts in Indonesia

Regent Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of Regent Bali Canggu, marking the brand’s debut in Indonesia. The hotel features the world’s first Regent Spa and six dining options, two of which are helmed by award-winning chef Andrew Walsh. The property features 150 oceanside suites and villas with sea or garden vistas, and direct lagoon access.

Regent Bali Canggu is designed to celebrate stillness through evocative details which draw from the surrounding Balinese villages and rice paddies. Natural light filters through intricate lattice screens to reveal an interplay between openness and privacy—the design of WATG Architects, with interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates (HBA) and landscape design by John Pettigrew.

Among the hotel’s 150 oceanside suites and villas, the 6,650-square-foot Penthouse stands out with its own private beachfront infinity pool spanning over 320 square feet. Further, two Bedroom Suites comfortably accommodate groups of six, with spacious bedrooms and separate living areas ideal for multi-generational or group gatherings.

A design signature of Regent, Personal Havens create inviting spaces throughout the resort—be it within an Oasis bathroom, guestroom, lobby or outdoor terrace. These environments balance form and function to create places for private reflection or lively connection. Equipped with tech-enabled connectivity, Personal Havens can be customized to suit individual choices, from food and drink to scent and sound. Examples of Personal Havens at Regent Bali include Regent Bali Canggu’s poolside cabanas, which frame the pool and lagoon, and feature all-inclusive menus and beachside binoculars, inviting guests to view the surfscapes Canggu is known for. Within rooms, Oasis bathrooms offer bathing rituals that can be customized to recharge, recover, deepen sleep or soothe sunburn.

Attention to Detail

Guests of Regent Bali Canggu are hosted by Regent Experience Agents—a signature, central point of contact assigned to each guest throughout their stay. From seamless check-ins and reservations to thoughtful touches, the Experience Agent’s role is to ensure every element of the guest’s experience is in harmony their bespoke preferences. This elevated level of care encompasses everything from arranging Rip Curl–certified surf lessons captured by drone, to a serene arrival by helicopter, as well as ensuring the perfect configuration of a guest’s room.

“Regent With Compliments” eliminates small surcharges to ensure an uplifting experience for guests, and Regent Bali Canggu employs a “no sand in your luggage” guarantee with a complimentary shoe cleaning service. A fully stocked Refreshment Gallery is also available in each room, replenished daily with a selection of local teas, homemade infused spirits and craft cocktails, Balinese artisan chocolates, and more.

Six dining venues at Regent Bali Canggu guide guests on a culinary journey across Balinese, Asian and international cuisine. Two signature restaurants, Sazón and Cure Bali, are helmed by Chef Andrew Walsh. Sazón, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant located along Batu Bolong, offers a relaxed neighborhood hideaway. Opening in early 2026, Cure Bali takes cues from Chef Walsh’s Michelin-starred Singapore flagship.

In addition, Taru presents authentic Indonesian dishes, complemented by a Beach House, Pool Bar and Lounge.

Spa & Wellness

Regent Bali Canggu will debut the world’s first Regent Spa—the creation of IHG’s dedicated in-house Spa & Wellness consultants Raison d’Etre. Poised to also feature at Regent Jeddah Corniche and Regent Kuala Lumpur in the coming years, the Regent Spa & Wellness concept invites guests to follow a transformative path where the mind resets and the senses are elevated. The spa features seven treatment rooms, including one for couples. Treatments include Balinese-inspired scrubs, wraps, massages and skincare. Hydro-wellness facilities include a vitality pool, invigorating ice baths and saunas. A 24/7 Health Club with dual-functionality spaces enables fitness enthusiasts to stretch, breathe and practice yoga in the mat-based studio, or make use of the spacious gym.
