Mumbai is gearing up for one of its most impactful women-led movements as GoFloRun 2025 officially returns on 7 December at the Dome SVP Stadium. Powered by Stayfree Tampons and led by Neha Dhupia and Anita Lobo, the initiative is set to build upon last year’s strong response, where more than a thousand women across generations participated.
After a successful debut in 2024, GoFloRun has quickly evolved into more than just a running event. The 2025 edition doubles down on its mission: to encourage women to prioritise fitness, speak openly about menstrual health, and build a safe, supportive community rooted in empowerment.
A Movement With Purpose
GoFloRun was created with a simple but powerful goal, to normalise conversations around periods while making fitness approachable and inclusive. The organisers aim to bring together women from all backgrounds, including students, working professionals, homemakers, athletes and seniors, reinforcing that wellness and menstrual health discussions belong everywhere.
Stayfree Tampons continues its association with the event, aligning with its broader efforts to promote menstrual education and access. The brand’s involvement also underscores the need for more mainstream platforms that encourage women to talk openly about their health without stigma.
Led by Two Strong Voices
Actor and fitness advocate Neha Dhupia once again leads the movement, along with entrepreneur Anita Lobo, whose work in community fitness initiatives has helped expand GoFloRun’s reach. Together, they have shaped the platform into a space where women can share stories, break long-held taboos, and support each other both emotionally and physically.
Ahead of the 2025 edition, organisers have highlighted that the upcoming event will feature interactive sessions, community warm-ups, and spaces dedicated to menstrual awareness, making it an experience rather than just a race.
What to Expect on 7 December
The main event will take place at Dome SVP Stadium, Mumbai, bringing back the signature blend of movement, motivation and meaningful conversations. Participants can expect:
- A large-scale women’s run
- Fitness workshops and warm-up activities
- Conversations around menstrual health and wellness
- Community zones to share experiences and build connections
Organisers say GoFloRun 2025 is designed to be bigger and more inclusive, with a focus on amplifying voices and stories that often go unheard.
A Growing Community of Strength and Sisterhood
GoFloRun has quickly gained recognition as a platform where fitness meets social change. As the 2025 edition approaches, thousands of women are expected to join the movement, reinforcing the message that empowerment begins with health, visibility, and community support.
