Pan American World Airways’ legacy serves as the inspiration for Beyond Capricorn’s newly announced “Tracing the Transpacific: A Pan Am Journey by Private Air”—a 20-day private jet adventure departing in April 2026. Building on the success of its inaugural “Tracing the Transatlantic” commemorative Pan Am journey in June 2025, Beyond Capricorn continues to honor aviation history while delivering an elevated experience for travelers. The itinerary charts a roundtrip course from San Francisco, the historic departure point of Pan Am’s Flying Boat Pacific services, to a range of destinations including Tokyo, Siem Reap, Singapore, Darwin, Sydney, Auckland and Fiji.
“Tracing the Transpacific: A Pan Am Journey” is now open for bookings. The program will feature flights aboard a Boeing 767 aircraft configured with all business class seating, a lounge area and stand-up bar. The 20-day trip will begin in San Francisco on Saturday, April 11, 2026 and return on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
Beyond Capricorn invites travel advisors and prospective guests to attend an upcoming webinar offering a comprehensive overview of the “Tracing the Transpacific” Pan Am commemorative journey. This private jet experience will be examined in detail, highlighting the meticulously crafted itinerary, refined onboard service and culturally immersive destinations that characterize the journey. A webinar session will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at 1 p.m. Eastern Time, with private consultations available upon request.
The Pan Am “Tracing the Transpacific” journey is packed with a range of special experiences and world-class hotels. It will begin with a welcome reception and dinner in San Francisco before the trip heads west to Tokyo, where guest will stay at the Peninsula Hotel. Along the way, guests will enjoy stays in luxury accommodations, including the Sofitel in Siem Reap, the Raffles in Singapore, as well as range of InterContinental Hotels—a nod to Pan Am’s history, as Pan Am founded the InterContinental Hotel chain to provide their customers with access to comfortable accommodations, wherever the airline flew. The program features several special dinners, visits to Hakone Mt. Fuji National Park, the ruins of Angkor Wat, Litchfield National Park in Australia’s Top End and a visit to Sydney Opera House. The journey will be operated in an official licensed partnership with Pan American World Airways.
