The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently made their debut as a couple on the cover of Time magazine’s latest issue that listed the world’s 100 most influential people. However, the cover photo of the couple has ended up on the wrong side, receiving criticism from a section of social media users, who termed it as ‘heavily photoshopped’ and ‘fake’.
The royal couple, who launched a non-profit organization in 2020, Archewell Foundation, are being honoured for their humanitarian work. Meanwhile, the renowned publication shared the cover featuring Meghan Markle And Prince Harry and wrote, “In a world where everyone has an opinion about people they don’t know, the duke and duchess have compassion for the people they don’t know. They don’t just opine. They run toward the struggle.”

But netizens were quick to notice that there was something very strange with the photo, and within no time it became the hottest topic of discussion on the internet. While a few users criticized the cover for being massively edited, others just couldn’t take their eyes of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as the former stood behind his wife while posing for the lens.
Time should’ve chilled out a bit with the photoshop. They don’t look real or like they posed together https://t.co/492zK8mZtp

The airbrush is doing some heavy lifting there.

What a strange photo .. it’s made to look like Harry is the same height as Meghan .. is he bending over?

Isn’t it strange how she’s always at the front these days? And since when were they the same height? Is he sitting on a wall or something? How could he allow himself to become so diminished in stature? This image says it all really. Terrible.

It’s this real or photoshopped? They are so plastic that it’s hard to tell, although Harry hiding behind Me-gain as usual seems legit.

with all due respect…this is a terrible cover. first I thought it is fake. who did this? and why does harry look like he’s afraid and hiding behind his wife? that’s so weird. they look like wax figures somehow.

God bless those two for what they do.😍when others spend their time hating, Harry and Meghan use theirs loving and helping others

He’s sitting on a wall because if he stood, he’d not fit onto the cover!! It’s a matter of “composition” for the pic. When you take a family photo, some sit, some stand, so everyone’s faces can be seen and in similar perspective. They look lovely!

The royal couple even shared a statement on the official Archewell website, addressing the honour of being recognized as inspirational leaders, along with a congratulatory note for Director-General of the World Trade Organization Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and her great contribution to humanity amid the coronavirus pandemic, which was recognised by the publication.
Meanwhile, the Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world also features notable names like US President Joe Biden, US Vice President Kamala Harris, Narendra Modi, Mamata Banerjee, Naomi Osaka, Britney Spears, Dolly Parton, Kate Winslet, Scarlett Johansson, Lil Nas X and many others.
